Flora and Fauna

Postcards depicting nature are always pleasing.  I like flowers and wild animals (although I am not a great fan) but I am not too keen on domestic animals (like dogs) although I make an exception for cat postcards mainly because my second daughter and sister love them.

When I get a postcard showing the flora and fauna of a country I feel that there is a lost opportunity because I would rather receive a postcard of stunning mountains, glittering cities, cultural events of a particular nationality, a train ripping along an overhead bridge, flags waving in a parade or a peaceful rural setting. 

Having said that, click on "Flora and Fauna" on the left and you will see some great postcards of a black swan, shore birds, a moose ....etc
