Having said that, I will always welcome a flag postcard in any form of display (full faced or otherwise).
Emblems and crests are also included in this section as they also represent a particular country, state or city. Indeed some flags are merely an emblem on a coloured background ( a lot of American State flags fall into this category). I have received a few postcards of emblems and crests as well.
Sub-national flags (ie Provinces, States) are of special interest too. Even cities have flags too and I have seen on some City Halls in an European city, three flags flying proudly - the city, the province and the country. I have taken photographs but these are not the same as postcards. Wish I have such a postcard .....
Postcards I have received from 2013 to 2018 primarily through Postcrossing and Swap-bot although there are some postcards here that are from other sources.

I have been collecting flag stamps and flag postcards for a long time now and it is always a pleasure to receive yet another flag item. These days, I like the flags in some sort of context - e,g carried in a parade, flying from ships, fluttering in front of some important buildings or maybe even worn as bikinis.
