Bremen is some 60 km south
from the Weser mouth on the North Sea. With Bremerhaven right on the mouth, the
two comprise the state of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (Freie Hansestadt
Bremen).
Postcards I have received from 2013 to 2018 primarily through Postcrossing and Swap-bot although there are some postcards here that are from other sources.

Bremen, Germany
The City Municipality of
Bremen (Stadtgemeinde Bremen) is a Hanseatic city in northwestern Germany. It
is a commercial and industrial city with a major port on the River Weser. Bremen
is the second most populous city in Northern Germany and tenth in Germany.
Bremen is of course well-known for the story by the Brothers Grimm of the "Town Musicians" - a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster. The statue of these animals is shown on the postcard as well as an image of their shadows.
The other images of this multi-view postcard is that of the Theatre at Goetheplatz; the Martinianleger /Jetty; the cafes and restaurants at Schlachte; the Universum (Science Museum). Surprisingly the more imposing buildings of Bremen (the opulent Town Hall; Gewerbehaus (trade chamber); St Peter Cathedral etc) are not on this postcard.
