Müngsten Bridge the highest steel bridge in Germany

Müngsten Bridge is the highest steel railroad bridge in Germany. The bridge is 107 metres high and spans the valley of the river Wupper, connecting the cities of Remscheid and Solingen. This stretch is part of the Wuppertal-Oberbarmen–Solingen railway. It is used exclusively by the Regionalbahn service Der Müngstener.
Highest Steel Bridge in Germany

This postcard was posted in Solingen (although there is no postmark to show that).

Solingen is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is called the "City of Blades", since it has long been renowned for the manufacture of fine swords, knives, scissors and razors made by famous firms.
It will be nice in the future to have a postcard showing Solingen itself.

I received this postcard from Stefan G. Jan 2014
