RU-2519293 Lake-side at Lake Baikal, Russia

Lake Baikal (о́зеро Байка́л) is a rift lake in the south of the Russian region of Siberia.

Lake Baikal is the freshwater lake with greatest volume in the world, containing roughly 20% of the world's unfrozen surface fresh water and at 1,642 m (5,387 ft), the deepest. It is also among the clearest of all lakes. It is the 7th largest lake in the world by surface area.  See my other Lake Baikal entry at:

This  postcard shows a lake-side area - I am sure there are many spots where people go and enjoy themselves. This postcard was sent by Marina Furman of Irkutsk, Russia (3 April 2014) Postcrossing.
