TW-1206373 Taiwan - culinary delights

This postcard sent by 陳亭云 shows an outline of Taiwan.  The shape of this island looks like that of a sweet potato.  The words in the confine of the outline of Taiwan are of various culinary delights.  I will pick out a few :

means to slowly braise different kinds of ingredients (eg pork) in a brine that’s made with soup stock, soy sauce, and many aromatic spices. The food prepared this way is called 滷味 (lǔwèi)

炒米粉  - fried rice noodles

胡椒餅” - pepper cake (?) - I have never heard of this one.

滷肉飯” - braised pork with rice
