Potsdam is the capital city of Brandenburg. It directly borders Berlin and together with Berlin, forms a large metropolitan area of 4.5 million people.
Unfortunately I do not have any nice modern postcards of Potsdam but only these two vintage (rather sad looking) postcards. The first one came from Torsten (18 September 2014) Postcrossing and shows the Terrace of the Schloβ Sanssouci. The second postcard came from another Torsten (March 2014) DS Postcrossing and shows the Army Museum of the DDR. It is now the Marble Palace (Marmorpalais).
