Children’s Books
On December
30, 2011 the Belarussian Government announced that 2012 would be the Year of
the Book. The stated aims were to
promote the reading habit and improve literacy among its populace as well as to
maintain its national culture and values.
This
postcard from Ksenia (6 October 2014 Postcrossing) features well-known Belarussian and Russian fairy tale and
children characters.
