The Church
of the Saviour's Transfiguration is the town's main touristic highlight and
landmark. It dates back to 1577, when it was built by Jan Glebovich and used to
be surrounded by fortifications. The tower of this orthodox church is 35 metres
high.
An
interesting fact is that this cathedral was originally a prothestant Calvinist
church, then a Catholic church of the Franciscan order before becoming an
orthodox church in 1839.

of the old Val Site of Zaslaŭje.
