To boost tourism in Southern Taiwan, this 'church' was constructed by officials. It is located in Beimen (北門區) and is known as the Crystal Church (水晶教堂) in Tainan. Situated in over 7 hectares of space, the Beimen Crystal church is one of the hottest photo shooting spots in Southern Taiwan. Many newly married couples have had their photographs taken in this 'church'. The Beimen Crystal Church is also a popular spot for tourists. The surroundings of this building were planned as a theme park of love, with many interesting buildings and art structures to fascinate tourists.
Note: The word 'church' here is used as an architectural term - I doubt very much that this is a consecrated church.
I received this postcard (a water-coloured drawing of the 'church') from Estela (15 May 2015) Postcrossing.
Postcards I have received from 2013 to 2018 primarily through Postcrossing and Swap-bot although there are some postcards here that are from other sources.
