WC 88-515 Boise, capital of Idaho

Boise is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Idaho.  It is located on the Boise River in southwestern Idaho. The population of Boise (2013 est) was about 214 thousand.

A number of recreational opportunities are available in Boise, including extensive hiking and biking in the foothills to the immediate north of downtown. Much of this trail network is part of Hull's Gulch. An extensive urban trail system called the Boise River Greenbelt runs along the river. The Boise River itself is a common destination for fishing, swimming and rafting. This postcard which calls Boise, Idaho “more than your average city” promotes such activities.

This postcard came from Terri07 (8 July 2015) Swap-bot.

  1. I love living in Boise. I'm a little over a block away from the Boise River Greenbelt. We love riding our bikes on the trail and also taking our dogs for a walk to the river. It's so cool that you posted my postcard on your blog. I feel famous. Teehee!! Take care!!
