Norman Rockwell painted this oil on canvas painting (Happy Skiers on a Train) in 1948. It appeared on the cover of the
Saturday Evening Post of 24 January 1948.
I could not find much information on the internet about
this painting except a list of the models used.
What is interesting to me is the look on the young suited man who is
obviously not a skier but who is silently enduring all the noise from the happy
skiers.
