PL-1231211 Świnoujście a seaport in North-west Poland

Świnoujście is a city and seaport on the Baltic Sea and Szczecin Lagoon, located in the extreme north-west of Poland. It is situated mainly on the islands of Usedom and Wolin, but also occupies smaller islands, of which the largest is Karsibór island, once part of Usedom, now separated by the Piast Canal

Świnoujście directly borders the German seaside resort of Ahlbeck on Usedom, both are freely connected by a street and by 12 km (7 mi) of beach promenade. Source: Wikipedia

This postcard came from Piotr (6 July 2016) Postcrossing.  Being a seaport, a postcard of Świnoujście will naturally feature a ship (a ferry is shown).  This postcard shows also (top right hand corner) the lighthouse (built in 1858) of  Świnoujście.  This lighthouse which is 68 m high is the tallest lighthouse in the Baltic Sea.
