This is an interesting look into Czech culture in Brno.
Postcards I have received from 2013 to 2018 primarily through Postcrossing and Swap-bot although there are some postcards here that are from other sources.

Nativity scene made of Ginger bread in Židenicích, Brno, Czech Republic
In the Židenicích district
of Brno there is a popular custom of making ginger bread figurines just
before Christmas. The usual scene
created is that of the Nativity (Birth of Jesus Christ). Jeremy Nicholas sent me this interesting postcard
and said that in 2009, a Guiness Book record was achieved with .2,215 pieces.
