Ninna-ji (仁和寺) is the head temple of the Omuro school of the Shingon Sect of Buddhism. The temple is located in western Kyoto, Japan. Ninna-ji was founded in AD 888 by the retired Emperor Uda. It is part of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto", a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This postcard showing the part of the temple in winter time came from Tamami (29 July 2016) Postcrossing.
Postcards I have received from 2013 to 2018 primarily through Postcrossing and Swap-bot although there are some postcards here that are from other sources.
